How it works
How to add a countdown timer to your website
Set when it ends, choose a look, paste the code.
Set when it ends
A date and time in your time zone, a time every day (such as 3 pm for same-day dispatch), or a few hours from each visitor's first visit.
Choose the look
Cards, flip tiles, rings, big digits, words, or a slim bar with your button. Your colours, a photo or a blend of two colours behind it, any size.
Paste the embed code
Put it in the page, or pin it to the top or bottom of the screen. Change the date any time; your site follows without touching the code.
Features
A timer that sells, not just ticks
Three kinds of deadline
One moment for everyone, a cut-off that comes back every day on the days you pick, or each visitor's own timer kept in their browser.
Top or bottom bar
Pin it to the edge of the screen as a slim bar with your offer and a button. Visitors can close it for the rest of their visit.
A new colour near the end
The digits change colour in the last hours you choose, so the deadline feels close.
When the time is up
Show a message, hide the timer, keep it at zero, send visitors to another page, or start a visitor's timer again.
Six designs
Cards, flip tiles that turn, rings that empty, big digits, a sentence of words, or one slim line.
Your words, any language
Your own names for days, hours, minutes and seconds, short labels, or none. An Add to calendar link for a date.
Every colour is yours
Digits, tiles, rings and button, on your page, a theme panel, a colour, a blend of two, or a photo.
Fits a phone
The digits shrink to fit a small screen, and people who prefer less motion see them change without animation.
Designs
Six ways to show the time left
The same timer, drawn your way.
Cards
Each unit on its own tile, with its name under it.
Flip
Dark split tiles that turn over as the seconds fall.
Rings
Each unit inside a ring that empties as time runs out.
Bar
Heading, time and button in one slim line.
Everything included
Everything in the countdown timer widget

Common problems
Timer not working? Check these first
Most problems have a quick fix. Find yours below.
I closed the top bar and now it's gone
Closing the bar hides it for the rest of that visit, in that browser tab. Open your page in a new tab and it's back. Your visitors get the same choice.
My per-visitor timer won't start over when I test it
Each visitor's timer is saved in their own browser, so it keeps running when they come back. To see what a brand new visitor sees, open your page in a private or incognito window.
It ends at the wrong time
Check the time zone in the widget. A date ends at the same moment everywhere, in the zone you picked. If you chose the visitor's own clock, it ends at that time where each visitor is.
The timer doesn't show at all
If you set a start time, it only shows from that moment. If the time is up and you chose Hide the timer, it's hidden on purpose. A daily cut-off only shows on the days you ticked.
The flip tiles and rings don't move
That device probably has Reduce motion turned on. The digits still change every second, just without the animation.
Nothing shows on my website
Add your website in the Install tab, under Allow your website, then open the live page (not your builder's editor). Still blank? Right-click the spot, choose Inspect, and look for a [widgetpop] line in the Console tab.
Still stuck? Email [email protected] and we usually reply within a day.

FAQ
Countdown timer: questions
How do I add a countdown timer to my website?
Create the widget, set the date or time it ends, pick a design and paste the embed code. It counts down by itself.
Does everyone see the same time left?
Yes, for a date: it ends at the same moment everywhere, in the time zone you pick. You can also count to midnight on each visitor's own clock.
Can each visitor get their own timer?
Yes. It starts on their first visit and keeps running when they come back, so a 24-hour offer really lasts 24 hours for each of them.
Can it sit at the top of every page?
Yes. Pin it as a top or bottom bar; it stays at the edge of the screen and visitors can close it.
What happens when the time is up?
You choose: a message, nothing, zeros, another page, or (for a visitor's own timer) a fresh start.
Will it slow down my website?
No. It is one small script that loads after your page and only updates the digits once a second.
